SoftBank 911T Front View (Slide Open)

The Toshiba 911T is a high-end slider phone released in 2007 by Toshiba exclusively for SoftBank.

The 3-inch wide display makes email and phonebook reading easy, but much of the UI and fonts are displayed in a lower resolution to reduce power consumption. The JP Wikipedia page refers to this as「倍角フォント」 (roughly translates to "double font").[1]

While the phone does support 1Seg, a smoothing filter is applied to the entire image which cannot be disabled.

A limited time deal included OAKLEY Bluetooth sunglasses with Black versions of the 911T.[2]

The 911T was available in Black, Red, Silver, and White.

Variants

  • 920T: Effectively the same phone with a minor design facelift and the ability to record 1Seg broadcast content. Available in Champagne Gold, Brown, and White.

Related phones

  • Toshiba W52T: Similar slider phone released around the same time as the 911T, exclusively on au by KDDI. Has a rounded design style by comparison.

There are currently 📄 2 dumped firmware versions ROMphonix.orgfiles.dog available, one a RevSkills memory dump and the other a dump of the 128MB flash chip via JTAG. The JTAG dump was done on a phone that does not boot, so functionality cannot be guaranteed.
