The Sony Ericsson K600 (codenamed Mirai) is a mid-range 3G mobile phone announced in the first quarter of 2005. It has a compact, aluminum-like retro inspired design with rounded sides containing buttons for video calling and the shortcut menu. Oddly enough, the K600 can run on music player only mode, despite lacking a memory card slot.

This was the last Sony Ericsson phone to use the old Ericsson T28 connector, after the FastPort was already introduced and used on phones like the K750. Due to the lack of fast data transfer on the T28 connector, there is a proprietary miniUSB connector included on the left side of the device. A similar approach was used in the Z800 and Z1010.

Variants

  • K600i: International version.
  • K608: Variant with a different design, available on Hutchison Three.
  • V600: Vodafone exclusive variant. Codenamed Nanami.
