The Samsung SCH-i760 is a Verizon exclusive CDMA smartphone announced on January 7, 2007, and released in October of the same year.

It features a slider design with a standard keypad on the cover and a QWERTY keyboard under the slide. The i760 runs Windows Mobile 6, including the ability to edit Word, Excel, and PowerPoint documents, but lacks Windows Live integration.

The i760 was one of the few smartphones available on the Verizon network that had Wi-Fi, enabling the user to access the internet without the need for a data plan.

Issues

  • Some units have an issue where the touchscreen will not properly calibrate, often referred to as the "calibration loop" issue. Some users have noted that the touchscreen is 1 cm off on the right side.
