Nokia N70
The Nokia N70 (type RM-84, codenamed Rolf) is a 3G candybar phone announced by Nokia on 27 April 2005 and released in September of the same year.
It was a part of the Nseries line of multimedia phones. It was also one of the first Nseries phones, along with the Nokia N90. It was available in Silver and Ivory on Pearl.
The N70 is in essence an improved Nokia 6680, with a similar form factor but with improved cameras and significantly more RAM available for applications.
Issues
- The display connector of the N70 is known for becoming faulty and showing wrong colors, random pixels, or just a white screen. The recommended fix is to retouch/reflow the connector.
Variants
- N70-5 (RM-99): A variant of the N70 without 3G or a front camera for Chinese, Mexican and Eastern European markets.
- N70 Music Edition: A variant of the N70 with black housing, extra storage capacity, extra accessories, and a dedicated music button. It was only available in Black.
- N70 i-mode: A variant of the N70 with an i-mode web browser.
