The Nokia E90 Communicator (type RA-6, codenamed Maxi) is a high-end business smartphone announced in February 2007 and released in June of the same year.

It was Nokia's last "communicator" device, featuring an outer phone display which could be opened to reveal a small laptop with a QWERTY keyboard and a large screen.

It also ditched the Series 80 platform for the more common S60 UI used on other Nokia smartphones. This opened the device to a wider range of available software, but many of these apps were not optimized for the large inner screen.

Thanks to the GPU on this phone, the same one used on the Nokia N95, it could draw accelerated 3D graphics. The performance however is not as good as on the N95.[1]
