Nokia C5-00 5MP

The Nokia C5-00 (type RM-645, codenamed Eve) is a Symbian smartphone announced on March 2, 2010, and released in May of the same year. This model is often referred to as simply the C5, though there are other models sharing the same name, such as the C5-03.

It was one of the last S60 3rd Edition devices, when most smartphones already had touchscreens. The C5 has similar specifications and features to other late Symbian S60v3 phones, like the 6700 slide. One of its notable features is the A-GPS support, along with free lifetime navigation using Ovi Maps 3.0.

Available color options were White and Warm Grey.

Variants

  • C5-00.2 (RM-745): Has an upgraded 5-megapixel camera and double the storage and RAM. Announced in June 2011 and released in July. Also known as the C5-00 5MP.
  • C5-00.1 (RM-688): Same as the .2 variant, but with different 3G bands. Released in August 2011.
  • C5-00i (RM-745): Chinese variant of the 5-megapixel version.[1]
