The Nokia 6300 (type RM-217, codenamed Piccolo) is a mid-range GSM candybar phone announced on 28 November 2006 and released in January 2007.

With a compact and slim design featuring a metal back and face plate, it was one of Nokia's most popular and iconic phones. Its features were similar to the preceding Nokia 6233, with the exception of 3G UMTS support. The 6233 was much bulkier though.

Four color options were available - silver, red-silver (both shown here), black and white-silver. The 6301 and 6300i had their own unique colors too - these were variants released later with added WLAN support and other improvements.

Variants

  • 6300b (RM-222): US variant with different bands.
  • 6300i (RM-337): Improved version, announced in March 2008 and released in April. Europe exclusive.
  • 6301 (RM-322): Improved version, announced in September 2007 and released in March 2008.
